Mattie Fate Wild was born in 2003 in Memphis, TN and currently lives and works in Chicago, IL. They will receive a bachelor’s degree majoring in Art History and Drawing, Painting, & Printmaking with a minor in Ceramics & Sculpture at Loyola University Chicago in May of 2026. Wild has already received an award for “Best Upcoming Art Major of the Year” in 2023 and has been in multiple group exhibitions in the Ralph Arnold Gallery – Chicago, IL. They were recently featured in Critical Mass at the Loyola University Museum of Art and Material Inquiry at the Chicago Mosaic School.
